# Bug bounty

Atomic runs a bug bounty program to encourage responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities. Researchers who identify and report valid issues are eligible for rewards based on the severity of the finding.

**Scope**

* Smart contracts (V3)
* Trading engine
* Lending pool mechanics

**Severity levels**

| Severity | Description                                          |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| Critical | Loss of user funds, unauthorized access to contracts |
| High     | Significant protocol malfunction, partial fund risk  |
| Medium   | Limited impact, no direct fund risk                  |
| Low      | Minor issues, UI/UX bugs                             |
