# Reputation system

Atomic features a reputation system designed to reward active and loyal traders.

**How it works**\
Traders accumulate a reputation based on their trading activity on the platform. The more you trade, the higher your XP level. Higher levels unlock progressively better trading conditions and benefits.

**Why it matters**\
Most DeFi platforms lose 70-80% of new users within the first month. The reputation system creates a long-term incentive to keep trading on Atomic. Your reputation and benefits are tied to your activity history on the protocol.

**Leaderboard**\
Reputation rankings are visible on the platform leaderboard. Top traders are highlighted and may receive additional rewards during trading competitions and community events.
